Other Locally Administered Downpayment Assistance
HOMEStretch I
Administered by the Gwinnett County Community Development Program, HOMEStretch I uses HUD funds to assist First-Time Homebuyers with household incomes that do not exceed 80% of Area Median [for example: $57,450 for a family of four]. HOMEStretch I awards $7,500 to homebuyers through a 5-year deferred payment loan that can be used to purchase existing or new single-family housing. There is a homebuyer education requirement.

Northeast Georgia Downpayment Assistance Program
The Northeast Georgia Downpayment Assistance Program, available to homebuyers in Gwinnett County, is a partnership of the Brand Banking Company, the Community Foundation for Northeast Georgia, and a non-profit housing organization, the IMPACT! Group. This program offers Downpayment Assistance for the first-time homebuyers and to persons who have already owned a home. The amount of downpayment assistance available varies. The eligible homes must have been previously enrolled in the program. There is a homebuyer education requirement.
